OVERVIEW

Norski is an  online e-commerce website in the skiing industry.
The company is called NorSki – a fictional Norwegian company selling skiing equipment online.
Norski has a basic online presence but is about to add an online shopping offering to the existing basic website.
The company have existing brand style guide and as UI Designer my mission is to build up a new e commerce product page template, a dashboard page template and landing page template

  • Online e-commerce website template :

We put all necessary content on a single page where the users can find them easily. The Purpose was to create user-friendly design and reachable content. The e-commerce website provides;

  • Size section
  • Color section
  • Product details
  • Amount of the product
  • Shipping details
  • Available reviews links
  • Lead capture Landing page template :

The purpose of the landing page template is to get in touch with the users and to catch their attention by offering them great discounts.

  • The Landing page provides;
  • Clear image that shows the what the content is about
  • Company logo and branding
  • Form with fields to capture this relevant information of a customer:
  • Name, surname, email, age, location
  • Checkbox to get users’ consent for collecting their personal information
  • A clear call to action.
  • Dashboard template :

The purpose of the dashboard is to help the marketing department to use and get a good control of their business improvement and to follow daily, monthly range of selling products.

The Dashboard page provides;

  • Sales overview
  • Sales revenue per week, showing the last four weeks.
  • Sales revenue per month, show the last four months.
  • A list of popular products.
  • Average daily orders.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED?

  1. I created this project in figma and It took a week for me to prepare this project. I have learnt that how important it is create something that would speak to their needs in a short time and how crucial it is capture the users attention in seconds. It is not always easy to find ways to get in touch with users and catch their attention so that they can interested in your products. Thanks to this assignment I have learnt different skills to catch the online users attention with creating outstanding  e-commerce designs
  2. User research considering every single details in many different ways, and if those variables are available for filtering purposes, they would rather have more, not less options.
