OVERVIEW

TreeLife is a company concerned with giving back to nature by encouraging people to join the fight against climate change by planting more trees. This natural climate solution has the ability to absorb carbon dioxide out of the air we breathe. Furthermore, TreeLife believes we need to restore our planet by giving nature the chance to regenerate and help ecosystems come back to life.

PROBLEM

TreeLife knows that many people care about nature, want to protect the environment and fight climate change – especially its eco-conscious customers. TreeLife recognises the importance of tree planting as a natural climate solution but doesn't necessarily have the knowledge or space to plant trees themselves.

SOLUTION

Designing a four-page website for TreeLife’s initiative to educate people about tree planting. Encouraging them to takeaction help the space and nature.

Treelife brand has their own brand style, all we needed to do was to create a website to encourage and reachout more people to educate them about nature and be a part of  leading more sustainable life.

  • This page prepared to give users information about how to plant a tree step by step. Because it is not always easy as it seems so, the page provides all necessary and detailed information with clear images to teach users to plant tree.

    We have collected those pages on a single page where users can navigate by scrolling up and down. The company mission has been explained and presented with related images where users can feel save and trust the organisation
  • World Map; where company shows their work of re generating and planting green areas according to chosen continents. This also persuades the users that how big worldwide cooperation is the Treelife company.
  • Donation section where users can benefit by donating both a little and big amount.
  • There is also an option where users can decide whether they wish to donate anonymous or send it
  • as a gift to someone else, so that they can spread the idea of caring nature others in the best way they can.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED?

  • This project has helped me to learn about storytelling, the use of images and certain persuasive techniques.
  • Keeping the information architecture intuitive and straightforward.
  • Organising content according to the user's mental model
  • Content modelling by following WCAG guidelines.
